Adequate Stay

soft pillowspacious roomhard pillowslow check-indelayed processmissing iron
The room was spacious with a soft and a hard pillow. This gave me options. The freestanding bath was a favourite. Breakfast arrived in about fifteen minutes and was very nice.
Check-in seemed to prioritise formality. This took precedent over speed. Housekeeping did not answer repeated calls for an hour. I needed an iron.

the windows in our room did not open, problematic for my claustrophobia. the hotel took an additional amount off my card, and there was no discussion about this.
